Here is the intro script for the month. This is the one for Big Joe and Kyle only, not the skit)
Google Docs makes it easy to create, store and share online documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
Welcome/Intro
Joe peeks out from behind the set.
Slide comes up that says “Hi Big Joe!”
Big Joe darts to other side of the set and peeks out
Slide comes up again that says “Hi Big Joe!”
Big Joe walks out.

Ok. Ok. You caught me. I am so scared you guys! I was trying to hide because Kyle isn’t here this month and I am all alone! What am I going to do?!
Big Joe starts to panic on that last line then talks himself down while pacing.
JOE
It’s ok. Joe. You’ve got this. You’ve got this. What would Kyle do…
Big Joe pulls himself together and turns to the audience.

Hello everyone! Welcome to KidStuf, where kids bring their parents to church! Since Kyle is gone this month, I decided it would be a good idea for me to look up our virtue and definition for this month. Well guess what? I have a big problem. Go ahead. Put the virtue up on the screen so we can all read it…
Courage: being brave enough to do what you should even when you’re afraid.
Right. Can you believe this? I mean, let me put it this way… Raise your hand if you have ever been afraid.
audience responds
I know right! Me too! I didn’t even know all the things I was afraid of until I started researching this virtue on the Internet. Not only am I afraid of hosting KidStuf by myself, no I know I have: Decidophobia- a fear of making decisions. actually, I am not sure if I have that one or not. I think I might. Geniophobia- fear of chins. This one really explains why I was afraid of Aunt Esther and why I can’t watch Jay Leno. Scolionophobia- fear of school. I am also afraid of math, science and recess. And, are you ready for this one? This is the biggest most terrible fear I have. Drum-roll please.
audience responds
The biggest, most terrible, awful fear I have is… Guffawophobia- the fear of being laughed at. It’s real. believe me. I found it on the Internet.
You see, there are lots of things that we might be afraid of. You might not have my same fears, but maybe you’re afraid of the dark, or snakes, or broccoli. Actually, I should probably add those to my list too.
The point is that it is important not to let our fears keep us from doing the right thing. We might be afraid to help the school bully when he drops his homework, but we should still help him. We might be afraid to walk out on to a stage in front of a ton of people and talk to them about courage all by ourselves, but with God’s help we can still do it. And you know what? I think I did a pretty good job too! What do you think?
Big Joe bows as audience applauds.
BIG JOE
Thank you. Thank You.
And now… it is time to see what’s going on today in our town…
